acrylic and pastel on paper
12"x12"

$4,000

Inspired by watching waves rolling in on the beach.  The wave is an amazing source of energy.  Watching the waves is like Zen meditation.  It is easy to become one with the universe simply by watching the water and listening to the sounds.  The painting is done in layers.

Orca"

The loveable creature whose natural black and white markings are so elegant inspires this painting!  Orcas are often sighted from boats off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Behind the whale is the yin yang sign that symbolizes beyond duality, the union of light and dark—the melding of light and dark into one.

Acrylic

28”x 62”

$4,000

Inspired by lush life force dripping with greenness.  Painted at Montezuma, Costa Rica.

The rainforest is the womb of all life, home to over half the known species.  It is currently being cut at the rate of 30 hectares per minute, and at this rate will be destroyed in our lifetime.  Protecting the remaining forest is critical for the survival of these precious creatures.

Pastel &

"Green Waterfall"
©Natalie Lynn
2002
Acrylic on canvas
21"x 41"

$2,500

There is a delightful feeling one gets from being near waterfalls.  Humans greatly benefit from the excess of negative ions that are found there. These negative ions are like air food that charge and refresh our bodies. Inspired by the green glow around a waterfall at Rincon de La Vieja National Park.

14.

“Blue Falls”

2001
Acrylic on canvas
29” x 46”

$2,600

In Eastern cultures it is believed that water cures most illnesses and diseases.  This painting is inspired by the healing nature of water.

15.

"Valley"
©Natalie Lynn
2000
Acrylic on canvas
13.5"x 14"

$1,300

A view from my studio where I stayed in Antiqua, Guatemala at the time I studied Mayan astrology.  This is a view of the heart of the valley.

16.

"Yellow Flower"
©Natalie Lynn 2001
Acrylic on canvas
8"x 11"

$1,200

This vibrantly colored flower composition is inspiring by its beauty alone. The red background has gold specks that reflect light and add to the richness of the design.

17.

"Bird of Paradise"
©Natalie Lynn 1992
Acrylic on canvas
22"x 25"

$2,500

This painting shows a common jungle flower.  The Indians eat the center part.  It tastes a bit like cabbage.  I am fascinated by the flowers and magnified the image.

18.

"Rebirth"
©Natalie Lynn 1992
Pastel, acrylic, and watercolor on paper
28"x21"

$2,500

The magical cycle of life! In painting this I was reminded to have hope in knowing that the forest will rise again. The new sprout is alive. I painted this in the most tropical southern zone of Costa Rica.
