An abstract version of our New Year's Eve, (1999/00) celebration of Aro Iris. We sat in a circle with candles in the center of the Do-Jo and made our prayers and played drums. One man played the bamboo sticks. It was the greatest New Year's Eve. |

7. Fire
in the Sea" |
This is my stylized version of what I actually observed: Our campfire being consumed by the ocean. The water surrounded the fire on all sides. 10. "Inner
Fire" $2,500 |
This piece is expressing an inner fervor, an inner fire
that explodes out of the area of the heart and the face with the hands
around. It is a sensual pull of
energies towards itself again. At the
time I painted this, I was care taking a Chinese mansion during a stay in |

11. “ Copyright©1995 $3,000 |
This painting is inspired by the Tibetan symbol for “now” which is the circle with the three waves in the center. Each wave represents past, present, and future. The circle represents the union of the three which is “now.” This painting was done with beach sand mixed with the paint to create an interesting texture. |
